BURSARY FUND

As a not-for-profit organisation, we are able to keep the costs of running and attending our workshops to a minimum. However, we are passionate about the importance of our work and believe it should be open to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances.

As a result we have a small bursary fund open to those whose financial circumstances might prevent them from otherwise attending. We will ask you what you can afford to pay, and the rest will come from the bursary fund where possible.

BURSARY CORE VALUES

Please read this page carefully. As a community, we adhere to a set of values as much as possible. These values are based on taking responsibility for ourselves and helping others.

The CIP is a non-profit organisation. Our aim is to offer affordable quality support for people across all spectrums of class and creed. Our commitment in this is to keep the workshops, what we would consider affordable for anyone in employment.

We also commit to giving at least 25 percent of the spaces in a workshop to those who can’t afford the full price through this bursary scheme.

Unfortunately the scheme can, and has been abused, not because people are bad, but because if it’s cheaper why not? Here’s 2 reasons why not.

The project will be denied much needed funds to continue operating.

Someone who truly can’t afford it and really needs it may miss out.

So if you can afford full price please don’t go through the bursary process. If you can’t afford it please do continue on the bursary process we can help you thanks to those who do pay full price and other donors.
