Rites Of Passage for Young People

Rites of passage ceremonies mark important transitional periods in a person's life, such as birth, puberty, marriage, having children, and death.   

Rites of passage usually involve ritual activities and teachings designed to strip individuals of their original roles and prepare them for new roles.  

All young people must be accompanied by an appropriate adult for the duration of their stay.  Activities include, camping, ritual combat, sweat lodge, sacred council and primal expression.  

This weekend gives young people the tools they need to navigate life and embody essential life skills.
